SMS students will be involved in Career/Life Exploration Activities which contribute to Health & Career Education curriculum in Grades 7 to 9.  Career Exploration Activities include Career/Life Snapshot presentations, grade-based career workshops, keynote speakers and assemblies, the Okanagan College Career Fair, and SD23 arranged Career Focus Conferences. Grade 9 students will also participate in the national Take Our Kids To Work Day in November. As well, all students will take part in three "HACE Weeks" (Health and Career Education) during which various career/life projects will be undertaken at each grade level.
